THE BOYS ARE BACK

The second season of the
series launches on Tuesday, September 22nd with THE BOYS ARE BACK. In a story both moving and humorous,
Clive Owen (INSIDE MAN, CHILDREN OF MEN) plays a journalist, Joe Warr,
tragically thrust into single parenthood. Determined to reunite his family with
two sons from different marriages, Joe devises a Peter-Pan-like strategy of no
rules whatsoever, only to find he has a lot to learn about fatherhood and about

Oscar-nominated director
Scott Hicks (SHINE) will be present for a discussion hosted by a film
critic! Prior to the screening at
7:00pm, wine and beer will be served.
ABOUT THE REEL INSIDER SERIES:
The Reel Insider series allows audiences to catch the newest in
independent, foreign and documentary film, 5 times a season (held over 3 months), with a discussion with an established critic and,
often, film talent. Mingle before
the screening with fellow film enthusiasts at a complimentary wine and beer reception at 7:00 PM.
Screenings begin at 7:30 PM. The announcement of films and their dates is made 3-6 weeks in advance of each event.

The Picture House
Several years ago a group of concerned citizens in lower Westchester organized to save the 1920s Pelham Picture House, now listed on the NY State Register of Historic Places, from the wrecking ball. The Picture House, recently restored and renovated, is now an independent film and education center. The Picture House entertains audiences with great movies – indies, foreign films, classics, shorts, animated films and documentaries from around the world. By inviting, actors, directors, producers, screen writers, and film critics to discuss their work, we bring the back lot to our front door.
